Healthcare Technology and News: IPNETZONE to Provide MPLS Network Services to Crunch

In a competitive world, fitness centers have to technologically stay fit to be profitable. A high-tech, connected fitness center can easily score higher and attract more customers.

Realizing this, Crunch Fitness has opted for IPNETZONE’s managed Multiprotocol Label Switching network and services. Using this, the fitness center will connect 18 fitness locations across the United States.

IPNETZONE provides nationwide data and Internet services, managed network services, network consulting, colocation services and monitoring solutions to SMB and enterprise clients.

With this agreement, Crunch, LLC will now be able to combine its voice and data communications, which is a key factor in its growth strategy for 2010, said the company. According to Crunch, IPNETZONE has a proven track record with MPLS implementations. Crunch is looking forward to reduce costs while improving the quality of its network with the MPLS-based solutions with this agreement.

“We’re very excited to be a part of Crunch’s strategy to offer cost-effective network improvements while enabling quality of service (QoS), delivering true redundancy and future-proofing their infrastructure through our MPLS-based IP-VPN solution,” said Joon Shin, president and CEO of IPNETZONE. “By converging all services over a unified IP-based infrastructure, Crunch can build new advanced service capabilities for both customers and personnel.”

IPNETZONE said a recent report by Forrester Research, Inc., “The State of WAN Services Adoption in North America 2009,” shows IPNETZONE has claimed that about 67 percent of enterprises are migrating to MPLS to deliver more. The company claimed that IT departments are increasingly looking to purchase managed services as part of the strategic decision to drive long-term simplification of operational management.

In October, the company launched a new channel partner program, IPNETFORCE. The program offers premier channel members additional marketing and sales support benefits as well as offering all channel partners flexible packages, nationwide coverage, generous compensation plans, wholesale discounts, assisted sales, online access and strong technology partners to support the growth of IPNETZONE’s channel partner program.
